Bud Rot at Columbia Care in Florida

I recently visited the grand opening of a new Columbia Care location in Florida. I was excited to see what this dispensary had to offer. I grabbed a jar of Grand Daddy Purple (GDP), and was surprised to see one nice big bud.

However, as soon as I broke it open (only 4 hours after purchase) I noticed humidity inside the nug, and when I broke it open it was full of brown/rot.

Florida has NO private testing of any medical marijuana. I cannot simply get it tested to provide full disclosure. Someone needs to change the laws in Florida. Patients need a place to independently test there samples. As of right now testing is only for licensed cannabis growers.

Dispensaries should have the obligation to test all the products they sell. They should also label a shelf-life date on edibles and flower.
